Courtney is 8 Months Old!

I know, I know. Where are the updates? Between Courtney and me dealing with allergies (and eye AND ear infections), benchmark tests at school (by the way, my class did SUPER on them!) and doing our daily routine, we've been a tad busy. Unfortunately, we're not slowing down anytime soon. So I'm taking a break from report cards and doing something fun...bragging about my #1 girl!

Our little ladybug is officially 8 months old as of last Friday! A few weeks ago during my planning time another teacher was in my room and saw my picture of Courtney from the hospital. She asked if I even remember her being that small. It actually made me stop and think about it. Honestly, it's been a blur. Now she's 17 lbs and 26 inches long!

Courtney is now crawling, rolling, pulling herself from her stomach to sitting up on her own. She LOVES her cheerios, puffs, goldfish, ritz, oyster crackers for snacks. She also has 2 teeth coming in which is fun to deal with *cough*cough*. She's even had her first official school picture day at MDO. She's saying Mama (but only when she's in distress) and loves to laugh...especially at her parents being silly. :)

This isn't the greatest pic of her. One because her cheeks have flaired up due to allergies, and two because she won't sit still. It's too much fun to wiggle than to sit still for deal ol' mom!

Here's a pic of her from this morning. She woke us up. At 4AM. We weren't to thrilled, but oh well. Needless to say, she fell asleep at breakfast! Lucky for her she has the opportunity to take a morning nap. Lucky for Clay he has all the free coffee he wants at the office. Lucky for me that my big sis brought a Dr. Pepper by my classroom this morning to keep me going!
