Making Up For Lost Time

I had no idea it's been so long since I last posted a blog. So for all three of you reading this, my apologies! It's been a hectic couple of weeks here in our house. I know, I know. What else is new? No, really...we've been busy! Clay's been busy at work with meetings/presentations for the big wigs. I had third quarter benchmark testing along with taking a 2 week computer course in the evenings after school. What was I thinking? Clay stepped up like a champ and was Mr. Mom for a few hours until I got home. It was worth it in the end, though, since I got to keep a brand new Apple Macbook. Hopefully, soon, I'll post some of my creations I'm working on to show you all the cool things I learned!

This week was Spring Break for me and it couldn't have come at a more perfect time! I needed a break from my other 23 kiddos and they needed a break from me. After this we go for a solid 2 months of school. I'll need prayer. Lots. Of. Prayer. Along with Spring Break came Spring allergies which has not been fun. All three of us are dealing with a cough, runny nose and sore throats. Yeah for Spring! : )

So let's get caught up, shall we? Here are some pics from this past week at home.

Lately, Courtney's been into wearing my headbands. And along with that pointing at EVERYTHING. So here's a picture showing both!

Relaxing on the couch. I just love how she crosses her legs at the ankle. So ladylike!

We celebrated St. Patty's Day by making good ol' Rueben sandwiches! Here's our Little O'Cutie with her daddy. Don't ya'll just love Clay's shirt? He busts it out every year. It's perfect!

Courtney with her cousin, Brandon. He read Courtney her favorite book Ten Little Ladybugs. On Wednesday we headed to the zoo along with the rest of the OKC metro! We went early and enjoyed all the sites!
Here's Court enjoying the Oklahoma Trails.
After the zoo, we grabbed some McDonald's and went to the park. Brandon is such a great cousin. He was so attentive to Courtney and making sure she was a happy girl!
Hope everyone is enjoying the spring time weather! Next week it's back to the grindstone. Grrr....The upside is looking forward to 3 months off this summer!
